If we go with "Legion of Phobos" maybe we could use a Roman Army style command structure (adjusted for BT style warfare). It would be something different and promotions in the Roman Army were veteran or command ranks. It would eliminate the need to keep people in a certain command/pay rank Here are command ranks/veteran ranks www.roman-colosseum.info/roman-army/roman-army-ranks.htmHere is a basic command structure of a legion I would adjust it to the 4 to 1 system that is common in BT. www.emeraldinsight.com/content_images/fig/0030270701004.pngLet me know what you guys think...

It's really cool that you did all this work, but it looks like a major hassle to keep the terminology straight. Not to knock your idea, but I like the workup Bull did.

For a non-military guy, keeping the terminology straight is going to be tough no matter what for me... Nikoliy, since I dig Ancient Rome... I love your rank structure...

Thought I would put in this thought. Phobos is also one of the moons of 'Mars'. I believe phobos is a greek word for 'Fear' and Mars is Roman. The greek word for Mars is Ares. Am I wrong or can this get confusing? Missed the time for the team meeting - 'Duh'. Sorry. Also the other martian moon is Deimos which means Panic I think.
Have to admit I could only come up with a name like 'Bulls Bastards' or similar juvenal names for the group. Getting old, must be entering 2nd childhood (u call it senile).
Someone said the semi-final(?) name for the group is 'Legionairs of Phobos'. Well then how about a small idea - Legion d'Etrangere? Exotic sounding and totally copied from France. You know, unwanted but needed for Colonial ops. Before hitting the French military jokes please consider the French resistance fighter, some of the toughest and bravest fighters of WW2.
